Shellfish – Dolav Boxing clever
STRONG AND HYGIENIC, THE DOLAV ACE IS BUILT TO LAST – A MODERN BOX FOR TODAY’S BUSINESS
W
idely used in the seafood sector, the Dolav Ace is at work in containing landed catch, grading,
sorting, storage and transport through an unbroken cool chain. With a 620-litre capacity, the
Dolav Ace is 1200 x 1000 x 740mm and has a stack load of 5,000kg. Made in one single moulding, the runners cannot detach and there are no crevices or hidden areas, so hygienic cleanliness is assured. The Dolav Ace is about half the weight, and half the cost, of a same-capacity insulated box. That means less weight, less cost and increased payload. Furthermore, the durability of the Dolav Ace ensures that it will last for years.
HYGIENIC The Dolav Ace has also been
confi rmed as having ‘hygienic de- sign’ by independent food science and technology researchers at Campden BRI. ‘We have no need for insu- lated boxes in our high speed unbroken cool chain’, says Michael Lodahl, owner/director of Danske Fiskeauktioner (DFA), Denmark. ‘The Dolav box lasts us as long as the old insulated boxes, with the added advantage that we don’t get contamination into the insulation material in the middle of the box wall.’ For more infor- mation visit
