Net gains MIDGARD PREDATOR NETS Midgard Predator Nets are ideal for those parts of the world where seal
predation is a real problem for fish farmers. Aqualine’s predator net solution is based on five key principles: the cage,
predator net, fish net and sinker ring are one integrated cage system; it has to work in the most challenging environmental conditions. It is fully adaptable and have the capacity for customisation to suit site specifics; prior to installation all design functionality needs are verified by computerised simulation and analysis; and complementary operation – all systems are required to ensure simplified handling and control of the inner fish net. 3. An improved customised fi sh net design and net tensioning system
where all components complement one another to provide a total inte- grated cage solution. This provides for optimal interaction and interplay between an adapted sinker tube ie correctly ballasted with increased structural rigidity and the Midgard fi sh net and cage collar. Midgard Suspension Nets are designed specifically for marine sites where it is essential the cage collar, net and sinker ring interact to handle all environmental forces, as well as providing an optimal security and rearing environment for fish. These nets are well suited to locations where preda- tors are more an operational nuisance than a significant threat.
“ We have to admit. We didn’t see this one coming.

Aqualine Midgard System® is the result of several years of research with one goal in mind – TO PREVENT ESCAPES.
The Midgard system has proven that even during extreme weather- conditions – at very exposed locations – the interaction between fi sh net, sinker tube and cage flotation collar functions optimally.
Several fi sh farmers along the harsh Norwegian coastline have now invested in a signifi cant number of Midgard fi sh nets for their farms; several of these nets now deployed in the sea.
