a contract for four new Flexilink grids at the show. The order also include other mooring equipment like buoys, chains etc. This contract was granted by Marine Harvest,

which already has seven Flexilink grids installed. The first one was installed in July 2013. Since the last show, in 2012, where the company launched its patented Flexilink mooring grid, it has proven to be a great success and so far they have supplied nine grids to the Scottish market. Marine Harvest also granted Mørenot a

5-year contract to servicing its nets at the company’s excellent service facilities on Scalpay, Outer Isles. Marine Harvest is Mørenot’s main customer on service at this facility today. ‘This contract is very important for us and it means that we have secured the job of our staff for the next five years at least’, says Iain Macleod, manager at Net Services Scotland Ltd. Arthur Campbell, moorings manager at Marine Harvest says: ‘We are more than happy with the service provided by Iain and his team at Scalpay and look forward to continuing this good relationship over the next five years.’ Mørenot Aquaculture Group’s facilities in Shetland and on the Outer Isles have good capacity and can offer excellent services to the fish famers in this market. The company follow the rules set by SEPA and the authorities strict- ly to avoid cross-contamination. Prior to the exhibition, Mørenot had already

the show with representatives from Shetland/ Scotland, Norway and Spain. This show is a great meeting place for fish farmers in the UK and Ireland. ‘Most companies are represented at the show’, says Nina Hildre, export manag- er at Mørenot Aquaculture AS. ‘You meet the

decision makers as well as the people keeping the fish happy and healthy. This market has been important for our group and we supplied our first net here about 30 years ago. ‘We are happy to see the fish farming industry in this market growing and prospering, and we will do our best to help our customers achieve their goals, she continues.’ FF
