what’sNEW

For more than a decade, Kalahari Resorts and Conventions has provided superior hospitality in a vacation-style setting to thou- sands of groups. With a sales and catering team that totals more than 400 years of combined experience, they have acted as host to some of the best event planners in America. Since Kalahari's beginnings, more than 22,000 groups have selected their venues, resulting in more than 1.4 million group rooms.

This authentically African themed resorts group offers a unique all-under-one-roof experience so guests can maximize their time on site. These resorts feature authentic African artifacts, furniture and artwork, top-notch meeting space, dining options, award winning indoor and outdoor attractions, retail shopping, Spa Kalahari and more.

In 2015, Kalahari is excited to bring this unique experience to the Pocono Mountains. Phase One of this new property will include: 65,000-square feet of flexible meeting space within 15 separate meeting rooms; 457 guestrooms; the latest in tech-

nology and business amenities; an 18-hole Donald Ross designed golf course; eight unique dining experiences; America’s third-largest indoor waterpark; a seasonal outdoor waterpark; and retail shopping on site. Groups also can take advantage of horseback riding, archery, fishing, skiing, sled- ding, snowshoeing and more nearby.

The new Kalahari Resort and Convention Center - Pocono Mountains will be located immediately off I-380 at Pocono exit 3, about an hour from New York, two hours from Philadelphia, two hours from Harrisburg, 30 minutes from Scranton, and 50 minutes from Allentown.

Phase II will add 400 more guestrooms and suites, bringing the resort's total to 857, plus another 100,000-square feet of additional indoor waterpark space, an expansion of the outdoor waterpark by two- to three-acres, and the addition of a Safari Outdoor Adventure Park that will offer dry play features, hiking trails and more.
