Resorts has been managed by the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority since the fall of 2012. It features a total of 942 guestrooms and suites in its two hotel tow- ers, has an 80,000-square foot casino, two theaters, six restaurants, two VIP slot and table player lounges,a casino bar, indoor- outdoor swimming pool, a health club and spa, salon,and retail shops.


At Tropicana Casino and Resort, also in Atlantic City,meeting and event planners will find 122,000-square feet of function space comprised of 50 meeting and ban- quet rooms. The property's 20,000-square foot Grand Exposition Center (GEC) can accommodatemeetings for 10 up to 2,000 attendees, or 113 eight-foot by ten-foot exhibit booths.


Fully carpeted, which saves exhibitors money, the GEC features an open ceiling that allows light into the room.Three sep- arate areas in the center can be used for meetings, trade shows and catered events.


Tropicana’s 18,000-square foot,newly ren- ovated ballroom features new lighting, carpeting, wall coverings and portable walls. Whether planning a gala event for 1,200 or a reception for 1,800 guests, the ballroom space is made up of four sec- tions, making it ideally suited for hosting meetings,catered events and breakouts.


After a long day of meetings, attendees will find much to do at Tropicana, like an IMAX theater – the only one in Atlantic City – three night clubs, a comedy club and more than 30 restaurants, bars and lounges. Attendees also can explore 20 retail shops on site, treat themselves at the salon and indulge at the spa. For a breath of fresh, ocean air, the beach and board- walk await just outside.
