Also included in the proposal is the reno- vation of Tropicana’s 434 North Tower hotel rooms. Additionally, 10,000-square feet of underutilized space will be used to create four new retail locations.
Resorts Casino Hotel celebrated a land- mark year in 2013 with the completion of more than $70 million in renovations,cre- ating a new atmosphere for the property. Projects included: the all new Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville entertainment complex, which features: Margaritaville Restaurant; LandShark Bar and Grill; The 5 O’Clock Somewhere Casino Bar; Margaritaville Coffee Shop; two retail shops; and new gaming areas. Margaritaville opened in May of 2013.
In addition, the boardwalk façade of Resorts was renovated, as were many of the resort's hotel rooms. All new Epic and Paramount players club lounges were added for Star Card members, and a new casino floor reconfiguration was intro- duced. Also newly opened was the Quick Bites food court,which features five new eateries: The Original SoupMan; Famous Famiglia Pizza; Haagen Dazs; Dunkin Donuts; and the soon-to-be opened Ruby’s Diner.

Caesars Entertainment has announced that it will add the largest conference facility between Baltimore and Boston to Harrah's Resort in Atlantic City in 2015. TheWaterfront Conference Center will be a $125.8-million expansion of themeeting facilities at Harrah’s. It will boast 100,000- square feet of flexible new function space andwill bring the property's totalmeeting and event space up to 125,000-square feet. This will create the largest and most technologically advanced conference facility in the region.
The Waterfront Conference Center will feature an elegant, contemporary design, state-of-the-art technology,AV capabilities, and will connect directly to Harrah’s Resort. The new facility will include two 50,000-square foot pillarless ballrooms, each able to divide into as many as 27 breakout rooms. Grand promenades,ded- icated banquet kitchens and support facilities will complement the center.
In all, the facility will offer 63 individual meeting rooms,300 possiblemeeting con- figurations, and general sessions for up to 5,000 attendees. The added convenience of 2,500 hotel rooms within the adjacent Harrah’s Resort undoubtedly will attract numerous meetings and events here.
Bally’s Atlantic City has announced that it will add chef, restaurateur and Emmy Award-winningTV host Guy Fieri to its ros- ter of culinary talent. Slated for an early summer debut, Fieri’s Atlantic City con- cept, Guy Fieri’s Chophouse at Bally’s,will overlook the beach and boardwalk. The restaurant will feature a menu of popular signature dishes with a New Jersey flare.
Fieri’s new concept is “simple with a twist”- not just a traditional steakhouse. Its main bar will span the length of the restaurant and include unique California- sourced wines, a selection of craft beers

Known for its vast selection of Italian dishes, it will offer a menu of traditional classics, plus dishes with unique Atlantic City twists.
