Recently, Tropicana Entertainment Inc. announced a series of significant renova- tion projects at Tropicana Casino and Resort Atlantic City at a total cost of approximately $35-million.
Such capital improvements include:major improvements to Tropicana AC’s board- walk façade; the addition of retail areas and a new fitness center; and North Tower hotel room renovations. If approved, con- struction on these projects is anticipated to begin in the third quarter of 2014 with an estimated completion date by year's end of 2015.

The biggest undertaking in the proposed plan will be a complete renovation of the casino’s boardwalk façade boasting a “must-see” fully choreographed high ener- gy interactive light and sound show via 20- foot high light bollards and nine LED screens. This light show would run nightly at timed intervals. The North and South hotel towers would be illuminated by color changing lights, enhancing the atmosphere of the beachfront resort desti- nation.

Additionally, three new retailers would be added to round off Tropicana’s boardwalk offerings. The final component of the façade renovation would be the extension of FIN’s dining room,providing panoramic views of the beach and boardwalk from within the
