The Crystal Gateway Marriott offers an ideal location for business trips and weekend get- aways. Newly renovat- ed, the hotel features
convenient access to Arlington’s best shopping and dining at Crystal City Shops and The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City. Crystal City Metro can be accessed from the hotel lobby, and the property features banquet facilities and 27 meeting rooms, including a 16,000-square foot ballroom, totaling more than 35,000-square feet of space in all.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Crystal City hotel is home to the luxurious Skydome Lounge, the Washington DC area’s only revolving rooftop lounge featuring spectacular views of the Capital and the Potomac River. It offers happy hour buf- fets, dancing, and non-stop entertainment. The DoubleTree hotel features 631 guest rooms and 28 meetings rooms that total 24,000-square feet of meeting space.

Unique Venues
The Artisphere complex is a performing and visual arts center located in the old Newseum space that fea- tures four distinct perform- ance venues, three visual
art galleries, and a 4,000-square foot ball- room.
Virginia Tech Research Center offers con- ference space available for accommodat- ing executive seminars, training pro- grams, workshops and many other types of events.
Kettler Capitals Iceplex is home to the National Hockey League’s Washington Capitals, and features two indoor ice skating rinks as well as plenty of space for a variety of events, meetings, parties and other functions. Catering arrangements are available on site.
Culinary Update
Arlington offers dozens of group and meeting friendly dining options. In the busy Crystal City neighborhood, where many full-service hotels are located, some standout options include: Jaleo, a Jose Andres restaurant that features specialty cocktails and incredible Spanish tapas; and Kora, an Italian-influ- enced restaurant headed by Chef Mourou, widely known for a turn on Food Network's Iron Chef America.
