Diane Meglino, director of sales for the Moshulu, discusses her restaurant’s center city Philadelphia waterfront location some of the exciting event options they can offer.


“The Moshulu is the world’s oldest and largest four-masted Tall Ship still afloat,” says Meglino. “We have private dining rooms and outside tented/heated decks that


can


accommodate groups from 15 up to 1,000 guests. [The ship/restaurant] has won many awards over the years,


including the


Philadelphia’s Magazine ‘Dish and Dessert of the Year,’ as well as AAA’s prestigious Four- Diamond Award from 2005 - 2013. We offer several different menus to work within all types of budgets.”


The team at the Moshulu has a variety of menus available for the holiday season to help create a festive event. “We offer special holiday packages and menus with a holiday flair,” says Meglino, who notes that all types of menus for both plated and reception- style events are available. “We have several beverage packages available, as well. The ship is fully decorated inside and out. We also have dance floors and stages for enter- tainment.”


Meglino also notes that the Moshulu is happy to assist in securing entertainment or any other services needed to make the per- fect holiday event for friends, family and coworkers. “There is nothing more unique than celebrating your holiday event on a four-masted Tall Ship, which offers breath- taking views of both the waterfront and the Philadelphia skyline.”


At the Sheraton Valley Forge in King of Prussia, the hotel’s director of sales, Lisa Karl, describes the facilities they have avail- able at their newly opened location.
