World Cafe Live events are staged against floor-to-ceiling windows. Menus, which can be made to order, present Continent- al American cuisine. “We receive a lot of university business,” comments McHale- Aregood. “Law firms, construction compa- nies and engineers conduct meetings and events here. Entrepreneurs, in particular, like the exceptional diversity.”
The World Cafe Live venue in Wilmington is housed within the completely refur- bished Queen Theater, which had been vacant for 50 years. The three-tiered music hall, designed and configured for opti- mized live performances, offers clear sight lines, pristine sound and comfortable seat- ing. These two locations attract confer- ences, business meetings, fund raising galas and other group events. The Olympia Room, dedicated specifically for this pur- pose, is charismatic with over-sized win- dows and adaptable floor plans. “We can host a small cocktail party, or rent the entire theater for a trade show,” suggests McHale-Aregood. “Whether it’s Philadel- phia or Wilmington, you name a type of event, and we can do it.”
