Dinworthy Equestrian Centre is run by Kim, Mark and Adam Mills and is located near Bradbury in Devon. The EC organises shows from April to mid November depending on the weather.

Gilly Davidson from www.horseeventsuk.com went along to their show on 16th

September

to photograph some of the enthusiastic competitors taking part.

The venue tries to include as many qualifiers for different societies as possible such as the Traditional Gypsy Cob Society, Cricklands, and Equifest and at the September show had Vanessa Gilbert from the Devon and Cornwall Horse and Pony Association judging with her husband Barry as steward.

“We love to see our competitors qualify for Championships” said Kim “one of our local success stories is that of Sam Short who qualified for the Cricklands Showing Champs and came back with two first places.”

Dinworthy is particularly useful for newcomers to showing as they are happy to lend a hand to get the best out of the horse; they can even supply the Supreme Showing Range of Products.

“We have a lot of breeders and producers who find us the perfect place to bring their youngstock, we choose nice judges who give constructive feedback to competitors. We show ourselves and appreciate the time and effort it takes to attend an event so feel it is only fair that the competitors are given time by the judges.” Added Kim.
