The 2005 Disability Discrimination Act is reliant on service providers, such as leisure centre and commercial pool owners, to make ‘reasonable adjustments’ to any physical features that may act as a barrier to access. Depending on the size of the pool it is possible to have alternative socket locations, and the transport cart operated by one person can move the Revolution from one location to another. A rescue (spine) board and an alternative seating option are also available.

The new products are a manual Super EZ Lift operated by hydraulic ram, and a Super Power EZ Lift. The Super Power EZ is a modified version of the popular Power EZ and features a battery- assisted ‘lift and lower’ function. It gives a smooth transition into and out of a spa, hot tub or above-ground pool as it has been specifically designed to clear walls 58 inches high and 10 inches across.

A customer visited us at LIW who was unable to bend, Aqua Creek’s solution was to modify the Revolution by removing the seat and creating a small platform with armrests so the lady could enter her pool standing upright – she was delighted as swimming helped her condition very much.” spn
