Two-semester program designed for graduates of foreign law schools who are interested in a formal program of study of the U.S. legal sys- tem. Located in Lubbock, Texas, the heartland of the America’s West, Texas Tech University blends rugged independence and Southwestern customs with the benefits of a first-class research institution offering more than 150 Master’s and PH.D. programs.

The JD/LLM in French and European Union Law is available through a dual degree partnership between Vermont Law School and the University of Cergy-Pontoise, one of the top law schools in France, located just outside of Paris. Students complete two years of study at Vermont followed by one year of courses (in English) at Cergy.

This LLM is designed for those who already hold a law degree from a non-US law school. Our LLM students take all their courses together with the JD students, so they have immersion in the US law school experience. The required courses provide a solid foundation in US law and good preparation for US bar exams.

Vermont Law School offers over fifty courses in environmental law and policy -- the widest range of courses in this field offered by any law school. These include numerous courses in international environmental law. Students have the option of beginning their studies in the summer or fall semesters. This program includes an internship option.
