Berkeley Law’s distinguished LL.M. program attracts some of the world’s most promising legal minds every year. Our LL.M. candidates have the opportunity to learn from internationally renowned faculty, enjoy a flexible curriculum that integrates American and interna- tional law students at various levels, and build long-lasting relation- ships with other legal professionals from around the globe.


Berkeley Law’s Summer LL.M. program enables international stu- dents to earn an LL.M. degree over the course of two consecutive summers at one of the nation’s premier law schools. Ideal for work- ing professionals who are unable to leave their jobs and families for a single nine-month stretch, the prescribed curriculum meets all the educational requirements of the California Bar Exam.


Foreign Law graduates who wish to further their understanding of the U.S. legal system and prepare for law practice in the United States will find an excellent program at Whittier Law School. Located in sunny Southern California, the Whittier Law School campus is located in a safe, upscale area known for tourism, within a few miles of famous beaches and world-class attractions.

The Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, offers a unique opportunity to obtain a Master of Comparative Law degree. Each can- didate must complete courses totaling at least 16 credit hours. Each MCL candidate is also required to complete a thesis approved by the MCL Graduate Degree Program Faculty Committee. All course work and the thesis must be satisfactorily completed within five years.


The LL.M for International Lawyers is a two semester, nine month program located in Tuscaloosa at the top ranked UA School of Law. Each student has a faculty mentor and general advisors to help plan his or her course of study. Many of the LL.M. classes are small, yet the students are fully integrated in to the main classes with regular law students.


The LL.M. in Global Legal Studies draws upon the unique focus of ASU’s Center for Law and Global Affairs. The Center’s faculty bring a wide range of expertise on topics from global health, to the environ- ment, to human rights to trade to technology. Moreover, students may participate in research in areas such as public-private governance, global health, and the legal regulation of trafficking.


The LL.M. in International Trade and Business Law requiring 24 units and a thesis project, offered by the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, is designed to provide candidates with the theoretical and practical knowledge required to understand current developments in the areas of international trade and commercial law.
