Willamette’s LL.M. program provides students with the funda- mentals of international law and dispute resolution, international business transactions, comparative law, and private international law. The program offers opportunities to apply comparative and international insights to domestic topics and a number of specialty subjects.


This 24 credit LL.M. degree allows students to take courses in variety of subject areas. Courses may be taken at our Philadelphia or Tokyo campuses with the option of attending our Rome campus in the summer. Limited financial aid is available. Please visit our website to apply online.


General LLM program with the goal to give foreign lawyers a grounding in US Law with fcus on U.S. legal research, writing, and analytical methods;the curriculum is flexible to meet each individual student’s career goals. Students may also earn certificates of concentration in several areas of law.

The LL.M. in American Law for Foreign Graduates provides foreign law graduates training in American law through a campus-based pro- gram. The degree can be completed in as little as one academic year. The Masters program offers foreign law graduates the opportunity to develop an understanding of American law as well as an opportunity to specialize in an area of law.
