The LL.M. in Transnational Law combines the strengths of Temple’s foreign programs with the substantial international and compara- tive course offerings in Philadelphia. Temple is the only law school in Pennsylvania and one of the few in the United States to offer an LL.M. in Transnational Law.

Duquesne offers a Foreign Lawyer LL.M. degree to candidates who have already completed legal studies in their respective home country. Enroll- ment is limited to allow for individual attention to LL.M. students within the friendly Duquesne community. The curriculum features a selection of required core American law courses with a variety of eligible elective courses.

Our program provides a personalized course of study plan with a diverse class of 15 students/year. Each student takes 3 required courses for the program plus a writing project. Students may select the remainder of their required 24 credits from the Law School curriculum, permitting each student to specialize as he/she desires.
