The FiberCor material provides insulation at a 2Ib density compared to the ½lb density found with most urethane applications. The loose fibres fill voids and gaps around plumbing and in corners – areas that other foam methods don’t typically reach. FiberCor insulates more evenly maximising the thermal performance of the spa. A Caldera spa with FiberCor insulation meets CEC energy efficiency requirements and lowers customers’ energy costs.
FiberCor has no petroleum or hazardous materials and is easily disposed of and reused. Being a non- petroleum based product this reduces the exposure to volatile commodity prices.
FiberCor is the first insulation of its kind to be used in the
construction of hot tubs. The loose- fill wool fibres contain 25% recycled material. A proprietary formulation, the superior blown-in insulation does not harden or stick to pipes and gives easy access for plumbing and lighting repairs. The non-toxic material is easily removed with a wet/dry vacuum and replaced by hand. No special equipment is needed – only a dust mask, goggles and gloves.
The Caldera collection is a value for money, luxury range and with 13 models in three different specification ranges it is broad in its appeal. Top of the range models contain features such as LED mood- changing lighting and Wi-Fi docking stations for iPods and other MP3 type units are integrated into computers opening the access to your whole music library and also integrated iPod systems.
MARQUIS RANGE ADDS NEW MODELS AND REVAMPS OTHERS
Golden Coast has a brand new model in its Marquis line up for 2012 with the Spirit which isn’t a new name to the range but is nothing like its predecessor. “The new Spirit hot tub looks absolutely gorgeous with its curvaceous lines and rounded front,” said Marquis President John Schrenk. “It’s definitely not one of those tubs you glance at and quickly walk by. This Spirit is an eye catching tub!” The 2012 Spirit has gained a rounded front that makes a stunning first impression as the lines of the tub curve and flow, showing off the sculpted lip all the way around the body culminating in the new filter cover. The Spirit has two spouting water features and has ‘grown’ a couple of inches to a full 35 inches. Not only is the Spirit now taller, but Marquis has maximised the interior space. The updated hydrotherapy vessel now comes with one more sitting space, for a total of four seats.
The Spirit also has two special therapy seats – one that’s 27" and one that’s 29. They are both great spots for aching back muscles. In addition, the spa has a cool down seat to get the bather’s heart above the heat. The cool down seat also doubles as an entry step to provide a safe and secure entry point into the hot tub.
The Spirit has 32 jets – that’s 13 more jets than before – all aiming to provide relief to aching muscles. While each and every one of those jets is wonderful, the star of the show may just be the High Output

size and shape creates the ultimate environment for whirlpool therapy and the H.O.T. Zone Therapy Pillars of whirlpool jets can energise just about anyone!
Other options include the Constellation LED coloured light show and the Adagio Audio System with surface mounted speakers. Additionally, consumers can enhance the look of their back garden by adding Marquis Environments such as steps, benches, cabinets and shelves that coordinate with their new Spirit hot tub.
The new season sees the arrival
of the revised Epic, a well-liked spa updated for 2012. Besides getting a sleeker look, the hot tub features more targeted therapy. “With the Epic our aim is to provide the customer with the ultimate hot tub experience,” said John Schrenk. The Epic has five seats. One of
the most popular is the Adirondack inspired lounge. It’s deep and comfortable. Marquis has added an auxiliary jet control, as well as air and Tri-Zone controls right by the Adirondack seat so bathers don’t have to move to control the tub. There’s also a deep therapy seat that’s 30". It too has its own auxiliary jet control. In addition the Epic has a cool down/entry way step and two more therapy seats. The hot tub is powered by two pumps and a dual Tri-Zone therapy operating system.
The Epic spa has a new exclusive feature that none of the other Marquis hot tubs have – Aroma Infusions. With a few pumps, the Aroma Infusions distribute liquid spa scent through a fitting into the water for instant aromatherapy. There are also changes with the Marquis Everyday range. Marquis’ Everyday Hot Tubs has migrated to become e-Series. e-Series will still
