Philadelphia, PA June 1, 2011 - This evening was highlighted by fabulous food, the hottest in food trends, and fashionable chefs.
The Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum was the perfect host facility. Chefs showed off their talents by preparing trend-setting food, and then took to the runway as models. Participating chefs included: Jay Embler, Herb Scott Catering; Charles Moretz of Voracious Catering; Erin Morrison, J. Scott Catering representing the Phoenixville Foundry; Rob Schlosser, Radley Run Country Club; and Kevin Evans, Village Catering.
Next “phantom chefs” donned Aramark uniforms, making the fashion show even livelier. Among the “phantom chef” participants were:
Valerie Franklin, Weddings Etc.; Dave Buckley, AFR Event Furnishings; Greta Russo, Lotus Event Designs; Erin Proud, Proud to Plan; Eli Allen, Majestic Images; and Jason Weldon, Synergetic Sounds and Lighting.
Additional sponsors included: IMS Audio Visual, Village Catering, Aramark Uniforms, Synergetic Sounds and Lighting and Mid-Atlantic Events Magazine.

MPMI Awards Gala Harrisburg, PA June 9, 2011 - Middle Pennsylvania chapter of Meeting Professionals International gathered at Hershey Country Club to recognize members who have contributed to the success of their chapter. Past Presidents Award was given to Melinda Condon of the PA Newspapers Association; Tomorrow's Leader Award to Michael Baker, C. Ted Lick Wildwood Conference Center & Harrisburg Area Community College; Chapter Leader Award, Julie Walker, Walker Business Solutions; and Volunteer of the Year Award to Cyndy Cosner, Hershey Meetings for Hershey Resorts.
