The weather is changing. Let's have some fun with the changing seasons. We'll make a weather wheel, learn about the different clouds and make a rainbow.

The earth is warming up. It's time to plant some things. We'll plant a mystery garden and grow some things that are not alive. We'll even snack on dirt pie!
Winter Weather
Let's bring the winter weather inside and explore it! Make "snow" pictures, build an igloo and have a frozen snack!
401-6 Tuesday Jan. 4 Outer Space
What happens to the moon each month? What does the surface of the moon look like? What should you pack for a trip to Mars? Join us-we'll even take a trip into outer space!
401-7 Tuesday Jan. 18 Sink or Float
Why do some things float but others don't? We'll make a sink and float kit, do lots of fun experiments and have a snack that "floats"!
401-8 Tuesday Feb. 1 6:15-7:30 pm What's the Matter?
Come learn about the different kinds of matter - solids, liquids and gases. How do they change? We'll have lots of sensory experiences and sample some slimy goo.
401-9 Tuesday Feb. 15 6:15-7:30 pm Incredible Eggs
What hatches from an egg? What can you do with recycled eggshells? Can yo make an egg float? We'll explore these questions and build a wall for Humpty Dumpty!

ECFE Science Discovery 3-5 years old
Discover the wonder of science! Bring your child and join us for these special classes with a fun science theme. Fee per class: $15 per child. Child care for siblings is not provided. All classes are held at MCEC.
