For an adventure in Mexican cuisine under the tutelage of Chef Lynn Isakson, come and explore Mexican food dishes such as enchilada, salsas, burritos, and the use of different peppers to add that flair to whatever dish you are making. First a brief lecture followed by hands-on cooking! Then relax and enjoy the food.

Soup's on! When the weather begins to turn colder, nothing beats the comfort that a warm bowl of soup provides. Cream base, stock base and hearty base soups will be prepared and shared in this class. Come with an apron and an appetite. Soup basics, garnishing and accompaniments will be discussed.

Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day


In just one night you can learn to make savory, healthy, homemade breads using dough that you mix in minutes and store in your refrigerator for up to two weeks. During class we will each bake a loaf of bread, sample breads and mix up a batch of dough to take home. Bring a 5 quart plastic ice cream or similarly-sized container, a set of measuring spoons and a large wooden spoon. Leave class with bread, dough and recipes for artisan breads you can make at home.
