Our first planting session of the crocus corms

ur first planting session of the crocus corms was at The Green in


Wennington. The Rotarians and wives from our club and Havering East became part of a real 'community project'. Street Care, who arranged the planting and supplied the corms, chose the site and within minutes of us arriving we were joined by local


residents and even some firemen from the nearby Fire Station helping out. Such was the enthusiasm of the group and the large number of helpers that we had planted all 4,000 corms in about 45 minutes. A great start to a very successful campaign in Havering.
