Business SIXTH FORM INTERACT CEREMONY JUNE 2010 I
nteract is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 14-18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which
provide support and guidance. The Great Marlow School Interact club started in November 2009 by year 12 students and is sponsored by The Marlow Thames Rotary club. Interact clubs are self-governing and fi nancially independent, making it possible to choose and carry out service projects that the individual club cares about. Each Interact club carries out two community service projects each year, including one that furthers international understanding and goodwill. To date the group have held two fund raising events a Valentines Disco and a Summer Fete which has raised a total of £160.00. The projects the students have selected is Robs Arttt a rare teenager tumour trust registered charity 1122990 and to support a school in South Africa. On Wednesday June 16 the Great Marlow School Interact was offi cially inaugurated and the ceremony was attended by
