A DAY IN THE LIFE OF...


PROPERTY NEGOTIATOR, BROADLANDS.


Most jugglers are part of a circus act but my job as a director of Broadlands, mum and housekeeper is exactly that! No two days are ever the same.


Routine is essential, with no home help or grandparents to assist, without it life would be too hectic. I do have one real bonus in that my partner is a fantastic help with the children and luckily he likes to cook. Some friends ask how I manage to do it, the answer is simple, you just do.


I think it helps that I really love my work so dividing time between the office and home works well for me.


Sometimes it would be easier if you could just slice yourself up like a loaf of bread and give everybody a portion because the morning demand from children finishes at the school gate the telephone starts with negotiators or clients needing answers to questions. All easy to cope with until about midday when your head can be in a spin. That’s the time a square of chocolate or something equally delectable goes down pretty well. The days I am in the office I always try to get a few minutes head-clearing fresh air by walking to the ‘sarni’ shop to collect lunch.
