FROM YOSEMITE VALLEY TO FISH CAMP On an open-air tram tour this morning, you’ll experience the magic of Yosemite’s Valley Floor: waterfalls with names like Bridalveil, Horsetail and Ribbon Falls, spectacular rock formations, nearly vertical granite cliffs, quiet pools and open meadows. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you please; either see more of Yosemite or enjoy swimming, hiking, mountain bicycling or fishing at the lodge – just some of the possibilities before a dinner at leisure. HISTORIC MARIPOSA & SEASIDE MONTEREY You’ll make your way to the Pacific coast today, first stopping at the Mariposa Museum & History Center which shares stories of the indigenous Miwuk Indians and Chinese immigrants who came to California in the late 1850s to seek a better life. Ahead lies stunning scenery on the Monterey Peninsula, including the famed 17-Mile Drive to Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, Asilomar, and Del Monte Forest. 7. THE LIFE AQUATIC IN MONTEREY Adventure starts at Monterey Bay with a choice of kayaking,* bicycling* or a self-guided walking tour. After free time to explore Monterey on your own, join us for a private behind-the-scenes tour of the acclaimed Monterey Bay Aquarium. Its ocean-life wonders include more than 10,000 live animals, an Open Sea and Sea Otter exhibit, and a Splash Zone – something for everyone including this evening’s private farewell reception and dinner right in the heart of the aquarium.
