EXOTICS
Costa Rica: Jungles & Rainforests
Soar, hike, raft and cruise through emerald landscapes Get a bird’s-eye view of an eco-rich rainforest on a zip line or sky tram adventure. Float down a tropical river lush with local color. See a hot-headed volcano up-close, taste just-picked pineapple and tree-ripened chocolate, and listen for wildlife right outside your waterfront lodge.
1. ARRIVE LIBERIA, COSTA RICA Tour begins: 6:00 PM, Hotel Bosque del Mar, Playa Hermosa. A transfer is included from Liberia International Airport to Hotel Bosque del Mar, Playa Hermosa, an oceanfront resort surrounded by tropical gardens. The name of your boutique hotel means “nestled on a beautiful beach in a forest by the sea” and it resembles an exotic treehouse with glass and wood buildings that blend into the setting. Settle in for a two-night stay and meet your fellow eco-adventurers at our welcome dinner. Meals D
2. HACIENDA FUN NEAR RINCON DE LA VIEJA Spend the morning on the slopes of the Volcano Rincon de la Vieja enjoying a choice of fun activities that highlight the surrounding nature and wildlife.
