3. A CANYON HIKE & LAKE POWELL PIZZA A morning hike in Grand Canyon National Park is one of those eye-opening experiences that will long be remembered by families of every age. Get up early and join us for an informative, guided two-hour walk along the South Rim of the canyon with an instructor from the Grand Canyon Field Institute; keep your eyes peeled for mule deer and squirrels in the cactus-studded landscape. Drive over to the East Rim as you depart the Grand Canyon this afternoon en route to Page, Arizona; we’ll stop along the way to show you different perspectives of the canyon from a variety of look-out points. Man-made Lake Powell in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area is your destination for the next two nights; your resort offers lots of exciting lakeside diversions and watersport activities. FLIGHTSEEING & CHOICE OF ACTIVITIES Weather permitting, take off on an included flightseeing* excursion this morning over the world’s largest natural bridge; look down at Rainbow Bridge spanning 275 feet across Rainbow Creek in an almost perfect parabolic arch.
