The collaboration supports

Loft London’s current services while facilitating demonstrations of the software platform’s performance in an actual operational environment. Wohler’s new RadiantGrid software platform is described

as having built-in intelligence that automates the entire workflow for managing file- based ingest, preparation, and distribution of digital media content, which facilitates high-end media processing, The platform supports a full range of video, audio, data and quality control solutions that streamline IT-centric workflows and intelligent management of content, including the ability to ingest content once and then convert and process it as needed for multiplatform delivery. 10.A10

Diverse monitor debuts

Integrated Microwave Technologies

By Ian McMurray

The RF Central Direct VU HD COFDM (DVB-T-compliant) diversity handheld receiver/monitor is making its debut on the Integrated Microwave Technologies stand. Said to offer exceptional RF performance and durability, combined with ease of operation and MPEG-4 decoding, the unit displays COFDM video transmissions using a built-in internal nine-inch 16:9-format screen using a high-resolution LCD screen. Described as much more than a COFDM handheld receiver, the Direct VU HD can send video over Ethernet to remote software or hardware decoders. This allows multiple remote viewers to monitor the same video simultaneously. An SDI output enables the user to view the incoming video on an external monitor if needed. 1.D40
