easier to use and allows a single operator to monitor the highest number of playout channels.

ICE Channel-in-a-Box v3.0 now includes integrated 3D and 2D graphics and CG functionality with timeline

Morpheus from Snell has a new user interface

Snell By Michael Burns

Snell is showing off its scalable and flexible TV Everywhere solutions in Hall 8, including Morpheus, ICE and

Momentum. Morpheus v3.0, the latest version of the broadcast automation system, boasts full virtual machine support to facilitate lower space and power requirements as well as improving system resilience. The company has also recognised the need for clear and simple graphical representation of multiple channels of playout and has introduced new user interfaces. Snell claimed that this makes Morpheus even

Realtime showcase

Agilent Technologies By Heather McLean

Agilent Technologies is

showcasing its four new X-Series Signal Generators, which provide phase noise, output power, ACPR, EVM and bandwidth capability. With these features, Agilent’s new MXG and EXG products (available in analogue and vector models) support the development of components and receivers that mitigate interference, speed data throughput and increase signal quality in applications such as radar, military communications, broadcasting and consumer wireless. For designers developing digital video receivers, the MXG offers realtime BBG capability, calibrated realtime AWGN, realtime phase noise impairment and settable I/Q impairment. For those seeking to enhance range, mitigate interference and boost component performance, both the MXG and EXG deliver three capabilities: low

MER/EVM; output power up to +27 dBm; phase noise down to -141 dBc/Hz @1GHz, 20kHz offset and ACPR of up to -67 dBc (DVB-T2, VV001 test case). 3.A18

editing control. It also offers the ability to populate fields from Morpheus automation schedule events, as well as external data sources. Complementing the HD and SD simulcast capabilities of ICE, the addition of a delay

server provides the ability to record the output of a channel for delayed playout services. Additionally ICE v3.0 offers variable-speed playout and audio processing.
