In 1951 a more efficient and economical nail gun, comprising fewer components, was developed and registered in the United States. During the Seventies the construction of a new factory in Curno allows development of the Bossong range - mechanical anchors for medium loads, nylon plugs and screws for light fixing - through a combination of import and internal production. The following decade saw production increasingly concentrated internally on machines created by Bossong technicians. Design and product development also became an important in-house capability. In the 1990s chemical anchoring

became the core business, first through import; then by producing the first epoxy resin with manual and semi- automatic machinery; and finally through industrialised production including new lines of polyester and vinylester resins. In 1994 sons Andrea and Michele joined
