2012 Men’s Fall Basketball League
“Just play. Have fun. Enjoy the Game.” Be inspired by the words of Michael Jordan and join our Men’s Basketball league. This league is designed for players who want to participate in a traditional open-paced league. Each team plays a ten-game regular season, followed by a season ending tournament. League play is governed by I.H.S.A. rules and regulations with local exceptions adopted.
Registration for the league is accepted as follows: Resident Teams may register beginning Monday, July 2 at 9:00 am (60% of team members must pay taxes to the park district or be employed in Downers Grove).
Nonresident Teams may register beginning Monday, July 16, 9:00 am. Roster forms are available at
www.dgparks.org, at Lincoln Center and the Recreation Center.
Registration deadline is Monday, August 27 at 9:00 am or when league is filled, whichever comes first.
Players in need of being placed on a team may call the Park District at 630.960.7250 and leave their name and phone number to be placed on a free agent list for captains requesting additional players.

2012 Fall Adult Softball Leagues
Couldn’t get enough softball excitement this summer? Don’t worry because adult softball is returning to McCollum Park this fall! All teams will play an 8 game season with the top 4 competing in an end of the season tournament. Games will be officiated following A.S.A. rules, with some local exceptions adopted. League play is scheduled to begin on August 27th.
Teams may register anytime after their priority date on a first-come, first-served basis. Register as soon as possible after your priority date.
Registration for the league is accepted as follows:

At the time of registration a $100 deposit will be due, as well as a preliminary team roster, including names and addresses of all team members. Roster forms are available at the Recreation Center and Lincoln Center or at
