Clap your hands and tap your toes; here at Kid Rock anything goes! Each week we will use our imaginations while singing songs, dancing to the beat, playing with rhythm instruments and practicing fine and large motor skills. Our unique curriculum incorporates various learning styles while combining play with music, enhancing listening skills and promoting socialization. Parents participate in Kid Rock I; Kid Rock II is without parent participation to encourage independence. Kid Rock III is for siblings and older children who still need parental support. Beginning Techniques

EARLY LEARNER Piano Lessons

Introduce your 4½- to 5-year-old to the piano. Finger numbering techniques and notation are used to teach students to perform pieces from the John W. Schaum Piano Series and tunes arranged by the instructor. The 25-minute class sessions are designed to hold the attention of young learners. A piano or keyboard for home practice is recommended. No class July 5 and 7.

Due to class size, be sure to fill out first through third choices on the registration form. We attempt to open additional classes as needed. Students may register for one slot in each session unless private lessons (available at an additional fee) are requested.

John W. Schaum Piano Series lesson books are sold in the Registration Office for $7 per book. On the first day of class, the instructor informs you on which level book to purchase.
