Inaugural Cross Town Classic
Play the Downers Grove Golf Club and River Bend Golf Course in Lisle in this 18-hole tournament. Enjoy a continental breakfast and registration from 7:00 - 8:00 am with a shotgun start at 8:00 am at Downers Grove Golf Club for the first nine holes. Then complete the second nine holes at River Bend Golf Club in Lisle with a shotgun start at 12:00 pm. A BBQ cookout will be held in the tent following the tournament. Ages:
Class # GOLF SPECIAL EVENTS The All-American Hickory Open
This 36-hole tournament will be held on the historic links of the Downers Grove Golf Club, the original site of the Chicago Golf Club and the first 18-hole golf course in America. Uniquely, 7 of the 9 greens are original, as are the majority of the bunkers, which will be in play for the All American. The course will be set up for “gutta percha” golf and will play as she did on opening day in 1892. All pre 1900 equipment is available (clubs and balls). Age:

Squires Men’s Golf League made possible in part by a grant from the Village of Downers Grove. Registration includes greens fee, small bucket of range balls, prizes and lunch consisting of a hot dog, chips and soft drink. This is a 9-hole stroke play with both boys and girls divisions. Tee times begin at 12:00 noon and continue until all golfers have teed off. Tee times are assigned in order of age. Registration deadline is Monday, June 4. Call the clubhouse at 630.963.1306 on or after June 9 to receive your tee time. Must be checked in and at the 1st tee 15 minutes prior to tee time. Rain date is Monday, August 20th. Age:
