Introduce your child to the world of culinary arts with these fun, child- friendly classes. Classes are designed to teach kids the basics of cooking, kitchen safety, baking techniques, food presentation, manners and culinary terms as well as broadening children’s food knowledge. Fundamentals of cooking reinforce math and science concepts, reading, health and safety and following directions. Each session is carefully supervised. Participants with food allergies may be exposed to allergens. All classes are held in the Culinary Kitchen at Lincoln Center.
Are you ready to become Downers Grove’s next top chef? Your culinary adventure begins in our newest summer camp. Immerse yourself in a hands-on program with cooking and baking instruction, techniques and tips. All recipes will be prepared from scratch.
