Downers Grove Park District Fall Youth Soccer League
Volunteer coaches introduce the fundamentals of playing soccer through weekly practices and an eight-match schedule that emphasizes proper techniques, knowledge of rules, team strategy, participation and fun. Bring a soccer ball to practice.

*Boys/Girls – 7th & 8th grades and 9th - 12th grade leagues may be coed due to low enrollment. **Grades may split into own league if enrollment allows.
Volunteer Coaches
The park district soccer league relies on a volunteer coaching system and every team must have a coach. Anyone interested in coaching should contact the park district at 630.960.7250.

In general, our goal is to keep players from the same school on the same team. Should enrollment numbers and roster maximums not accommodate this practice, schools may be combined to form teams. Team maximums are based on enrollment numbers at the time of the registration deadline. Game Sites: Game Dates:

Games canceled due to weather conditions will not be made up. Refunds will not be issued for game cancellations. Friend requests are not guaranteed.
Registration Procedures Please carefully review the registration procedures as there have been some changes.
Resident/Nonresident Players Registration begins Monday, June 4. Each season new teams are formed and grouped as specified above. Returning players are not guaranteed the same team from season to season. To be eligible for the Early Registration Fee, registration forms must be received by Monday, June 25th. After this date, the Regular Registration Fee will be charged. The deadline for all registrations is Monday, July
16th.Registration forms received after Monday, July 16 will be placed on a waitlist. Volunteer coaches meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 25 at 6:30 pm at the Recreation Center.

SSoccer 3 vs. 3 Tournament tart your summer off right by playing in this fun competitive
3 vs. 3 tournament. Up to 6 players can play on one team and each team will need to submit a team roster before playing the first game. Each team is guaranteed 3 games at McCollum Park Soccer Fields. Pool play games will be followed by an elimination tournament to determine which team is the best in Downers Grove. Individual registration is not accepted. Deadline to register is June 18. Grade:

Kids Soccer 6/20 Age
Gain coordination and self-esteem while learning the fundamentals of this popular team sport. Basics such as passing, shooting and dribbling are taught. Level II focuses on positioning and teamwork.
