As an active fitness member, unlimited group exercise can be added to your membership. This add-on will allow you to take all classes on the Group Exercise Class Schedule. All participants must be 14 years of age and older. *This fee is per person on the membership. Reinstatement of your Unlimited Group Exercise add-on within 6 months of cancelling the add-on will require a $25 reinststememnt fee.

Business Membership— Downers Grove Companies


Make fitness part of your workday with our local business membership. When a minimum of six employees from your company sign up together, receive special discounts and incentives. Employees must be full-time and provide proof of employment, at the time of enrollment. Contact the Membership Services Department at 630.960.7250 for more information.

Enrollment fees are applied to new memberships or memberships that have been inactive for more than 60 days. The maximum enrollment fee per household is $149 while all members remain active per membership year. If a new member is adding on to an existing membership, the enrollment fee will be based on age: $79 for ages 23 and up; $49 ages 15 - 22; and ages 62 and older. Enrollment fees must be paid in full at the time of sign-up and are non-refundable.

plan option, the first month payment will be prorated from the date of sign-up to the date of the first monthly billing and will be due at the time of purchase. Payment plans are required to have an automatic withdrawal from a checking, savings or credit card to qualify. Memberships will remain active until a 30-day written notice of cancellation has been made to the Downers Grove Park District.

Teen Fitness University


Become a Fitness Center member before age 15! Teens ages 12 to 14 can get certified to be a Fitness Center member by completing a training program with an American Council on Exercise certified personal trainer. This personalized training program includes three one-hour sessions focused on proper warm- up, strength, cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility, cool down, nutrition, fitness etiquette and safe and correct form on Fitness Center machines. Eligibility is determined by the personal trainer. Once you are certified, you are eligible to purchase a Fitness Center membership (additional fees apply). A 30-minute introduction to cardiovascular equipment and some selectorized resistance machines. Our nationally certified personal training staff will instruct you on proper form, technique and starting positions. Sign up at the Fitness Center desk or make an appointment by calling 630.960.7250. The equipment orientation is free for annual and summer members only. For program design, personal training is recommended.
