ADULT Sports and Leagues 2012 Fall Indoor Volleyball Leagues
Teams may register anytime after their priority date on a first-come, first-served basis until all slots are filled. Register as soon as possible after your priority date listed below:
Returning Resident Teams register beginning Monday, July 9 at 9:00 am.
New Resident Teams (60% of team members residing or employed in Downers Grove) register beginning Monday, July 16 at 9:00 am.
Returning Nonresident Teams register beginning Monday, July 23 at 9:00 am.
New Nonresident Teams register beginning Monday, July 30 at 9:00 am.
Registration deadline is August 27. Teams registering prior to August 27 will be guaranteed a place in the league.
Get a group of friends together and join a Downers Grove Park District league this fall. There are Men’s, Women’s and Co-Rec leagues that will fit any ability or competitiveness. Each division will play a 10 game season. All games are officiated with USVA rules. League play is tentatively scheduled to begin the week of September 10.
Roster forms are available at Lincoln Center, the Recreation Center or at
www.dgparks.org. A $100 entry fee, roster (name, address and signatures) and proof of residency or employment in Downers Grove for new resident participants are due at the time of registration.

The Adult Soccer program is a great way to meet new people and get some exercise. This self-paced program is ideal for participants of all skill levels. Program consists of ten minutes of warm-ups followed by pick-up style games ranging from small side to full field matches. Age:

Downers Grove Adult Softball Summer City Championship
The summer season is not over yet. End the year with this weekend double eliminations tournament. Game will start at 10:00 am on July 28th and end on July 29th. There are 5 divisions to include Men’s Rec, Men’s Competitive, Women’s 11", over 40 Men’s and Co-Rec. All games will be played at McCollum Park Ball Field 3 and 4 and game balls will be provided. Team rosters are due on Friday, July 27th. Cash prize for the winners of each division. Day:
