Discovery Play is designed for parent and child to participate together in a social play group with sensory, language, fine and gross motor activities. The end of each class features structured activities and circle time. Discover fresh activities to enhance your child’s development while sharing ideas and experiences with other parents. Parents and children should wear gym shoes and comfortable clothing. Fee includes parent and one child. Due to classroom size, non-age appropriate siblings cannot be accommodated. Always look before you cross the street! In Safety Town, children ride big wheels and enjoy visits by fire department and local school bus staff, while learning pedestrian, passenger, fire safety and at- home safety skills. The nationally recognized program is presented by the Downers Grove Police Department and Downers Grove Junior Woman’s Club and features a mini safety town, complete with kid-sized buildings, street signs and sidewalks. Families are invited to Graduation Day where children receive a certificate and share their learning experience. Each child receives an official Safety Town T-shirt and class picture. We’ve Got Spirit Cheer Team
These super fun, energy-charged classes will have your athletes cheering! Jumps, kicks and proper cheer body motions will improve flexibility and coordination. Appropriate stunting and a variety of cheers that change each session develop strength and endurance, while group participation, pom usage and sign make a complete a realistic Cheer Team experience that prepares for our Parent/Sibling Pep Rally! Pommer’s Dance Team Express
Pommer’s dance team creates total body fun that develops important dance skills like leaps, turns and flexibility. Endurance, memory and confidence increase with each session’s new choreographed routines using fast, fun and kid friendly tunes.
