Looking for a way to provide healthy, organic food for your family without breaking the bank? Learn where your food really comes from and grow your own! Green Family Farmers is for anyone who is new to gardening, is limited on space, and wants their family to learn about gardening, healthy habits and stewardship for the land. We will guide your family through the process of planning, planting, maintaining and harvesting your organic mini-garden plot at Mar- Duke Farm. The fee includes your 10 x 15 ft mini-plot rental, five instructed sessions, starter seeds, and a Green Family Farmers guidebook with information on how to plant and care for your organic garden, recipes, common pest identification and remedies, and instructions for garden crafts.
