Monarda (Bee Balm) Also called Bergamot, these ornamental members of the mint family have whorled flowerheads of tightly packed tubular flowers above colored leafy bracts. Green foliage has the shape and aroma of mint. Blooms heav- ily all summer and spreads quickly. Plant in rich, moisture-retentive soil.
