Heuchera (Coral Bells) Coral bells have become the most popular foliage plant for gardens and borders, offering an incredible variety of foliage sizes and colors. All have distinctive ivy-shaped leaves topped by airy sprays of small, bell-like flowers. Plant in rich, moist, well-drained soil. Shear old top growth in spring. Mulch after the ground freezes to prevent heaving.

(P.P.19577)–Leaves of this heuchera become as wide as your palm. In spring they emerge deep burgundy, lightly silvered and with dark purple veins. As summer progresses, they become a softer rosy-purple shade. Pink buds open to reveal cream flow- ers on 24 inch spikes. Villosa parentage makes this plant a vig- orous, strong grower with good heat and sun tolerance. 3P

(P.P.17934)–This robust villosa hybrid is citron yellow with silvered undersides. The color will be more chartreuse in shade. An exceptionally strong grower for this color. Cream flowers are produced much later in the season than most heu- cheras. It likes more shade than other H. villosa types. 3P
