Iberis (Candytuft) Few plants brighten the landscape as effectively as the dense, creeping mounds of sparkling pe- rennial candytuft. The fl ower show can last well over two months with sporadic rebloom there- after. Narrow, dark green and glossy evergreen leaves look like they’ve been dipped in wax. Beautiful for borders and rock gardens. Drought tolerant. Requires well-drained soil.

Hibiscus (Rose Mallow) These H. moscheutos hybrids feature huge, saucer-size fl owers on shrub-like plants. Since they’re slow to break dormancy in the spring, mark their location well.
