It’s a cross between her- baceous and tree peonies and is herbaceous in character. It’s prized for its large, semi-double blooms, up to 8 inches in diameter. (Rudbeckia hirta)–A new color for America’s favorite native wildfl ower. Big 3 to 4 inch fl owers are hues of deep cherry-red with chocolate-brown cen- ters.
