SYNERGISTIC HYBRIDS PAY DIRT MIRAI® 350BC

Synergistic (se/sh2) varieties have a combination of 75% (se) kernels and 25% (sh2) kernels. The result blends the natural corn fl avor and tenderness of sugary enhanced (se) sweet corns with the higher sugar levels and better keeping qualities of the supersweet (sh2) types. Synergistics are the latest generation of sweet corn hybrids and their quality and fl avor are amazing. Synergistic, se and su varieties can be grown together, but isolate synergis- tics from other supersweet (sh2) varieties or the result will be tough, starchy kernels for both.

CUCUMBERS

GROWING CUCUMBERS–For an early crop start seeds in Jiffy-7’s or peat pots 3 to 4 weeks prior to outdoor planting. Set plants out after danger of frost is past. Seeds sown directly in the soil should be planted when the soil warms to 60°F. Plant 5 to 6 seeds in hills 4 to 5 feet apart, thinning to 3 plants. A packet (except hybrids) will plant 12 to 15 hills, 1 oz. about 50 hills. To save space and get straight cucumbers grow on a fence or netting. Approximately 1000 seeds per ounce.
