Speedline Awarded Patent for
Dual Head Dispensing Franklin, MA — Speedline Technologies has been awarded a US patent for its Camalot Dual Head Dispensing technology. The patent claims are based around detection of panel rotation and the ability of the system to automati- cally switch to an asynchronous dispense mode. This functionality ensures that both heads dispense accurately on PCBs within a skewed panel. As part of the “zero-defects” approach, the company has incorporated additional soft- ware routines with algorithms that confirm the dual pumps are pitched cor- rectly and have identical flow rates. The Camalot synchronous dispense mode has been field-proven in improving throughput by over 50 percent.. Contact: Speedline Technologies, 16 Forge Park, Franklin, MA 02038
