the North West Trade mouldings creates new 75,000 Sq ft distribution centre on six acre site

Work has started on Trade Mouldings’ new 75,000 sq ft distribution centre on a six acre site at Kingsway Business Park in Rochdale.

The design and build premises will nearly treble the space available to the manufacturer of kitchen and bedroom unit doors and MDF wrapped mouldings, and create around 30 new jobs.

Northern Ireland-based Trade Mouldings has been distributing across the UK from Blueberry Business Park in Rochdale since 2002, when it moved into its current premises at Blueberry Business Park.

The growing business now needs the extra capacity and flexibility that a tailor made unit at Kingsway can offer.

The significant increase in capacity means the business can be more efficient, with an expanded stock range, a larger showroom and trade counter and a more complete service for customers, all under one roof. The company expects to occupy the unit in Autumn 2019.

Kingsway Business Park is being developed by a joint venture partnership between Wilson Bowden, Homes England, Rochdale Borough Council and Rochdale Development Agency.

Rochdale Development Agency and Rochdale Borough Council are supporting Trade Mouldings with their expansion project.

P3 and JLL are the appointed agents for Kingsway Business Park.
