Park’s small suite occupancy on track for record high.

Patrizia, the asset manager of Birchwood Park, Warrington, is celebrating the completion of a raft of new lettings for its small suite office spaces, welcoming 15 new businesses to the park since the turn of the year.

More than 5,500 sq ft of small office space has been let across the park so far in 2018, putting the leading business destination on track to beat 2017’s year- end total of 6,300 sq ft.

Linda Welsby, leasing manager at Birchwood Park, added: “We’re seeing real depth in the range of businesses wanting to set up a base in the region – from start-ups and SMEs, to large corporates. It is a measure of how attractive a proposition the North West is as a location, and the vast opportunities for growth here in Birchwood.”

In response to high demand, Birchwood Park is currently creating three additional small office suites at Chadwick House.

In 2018, Birchwood Park is celebrating 20 years of growth. Since 1998 the park has almost tripled in size, providing 1.1million sq ft of office and warehouse space and accommodating over 165 businesses.

Birchwood Park, Warrington, has also welcomed Mirion Technologies to the park’s prime warehouse development, Cavendish Place.

Employees will also be well positioned to benefit from the perks of the Park designed to support employee wellbeing, as well as the attraction and retention of staff. Onsite perks include Starbucks coffee, the ‘Alive & Well’ gym and eating and meeting destination, The Centre.

Martin O’Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park said: “Birchwood Park has a long history of collaboration in research, design and development, particularly in the nuclear services industry.

Mirion is the perfect fit in this regard and will be a welcome addition to the diverse cluster of science and engineering businesses on the park”.
