MARCH DEVELOPMENTS The success continues


March Property Developments was launched in 2019 by Mark Bielby and Charles Smyth. Well known for their work at Miller Birch and with Cedar House investments Mark and Charles forged a reputa- tion for delivering significant and successful schemes in the East Midlands. These include Trinity House, the nine storey 105,000 sq ft office building in Nottingham , home to E.ON Retail. During the turmoil created by the financial crisis, in 2010 this was the largest office pre-let outside of London.


Other major occupiers were attracted to ng2 Business park, in Nottingham, with offices completed for Speedo, Specsavers and HBOS.


Schemes in the Industrial and logistics sectors include warehouses for Warburtons, Travis Perkins and DHL and a new manufacturing facility for Swedish engineering giant, Trelleborg.


Mark and Charles have achieved success through a collaborative approach working with landowners, occupiers ,local authorities and funding partners. This achieves maximum return for landowners and investors, delivers building solutions that meet and exceed occupi- ers’ requirements and aspirations and achieves the highest level in environmental standards.


In delivering these schemes we have worked with major funding partners including Allianz, Columbia Threadneedle, Lloyds Banking Group, F and C Investment Trust and Standard Life.


March Developments has continued with this success and is currently bringing forward a 10 acre mixed-use development at Swanwick Park,

Derbyshire. Located adjacent to the A38 and close to junction 28 of the M1 motorway it is set to deliver retail, roadside, Care Home and other commercial uses. A residential scheme is also being progressed in Somercotes, Derbyshire. There is also five acres remaining at ng2 Business Park in Nottingham.


March Property Developments is focussed on the East Midlands region operating in the Commercial and Residential markets. Sectors include Office, Retail, roadside, industrial and logistics. We are known for our innovative and practical approach to problem solving and deliver developments that contribute significantly to the local economy.


Through March Development Services we also deliver consultancy on development and project management. At Infinity Park, March works closely with the joint venture partners Wilson Bowden and Peveril Securities who are delivering the scheme. Completed pro- jects include a new facility for the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (NAMRC) , a manufacturing facility for Oregon Timber and a new speculative 507,000 sq ft warehouse, Derby 507, funded by Logicor. Planning has just been secured for a 194,000 sq ft warehouse and a further 167,500 sq ft warehouse has now been granted a planning consent.
