KPMG almost doubles space in Nottingham
CEG has secured tenant, KPMG for a further five years in its letting of 7,500 sq ft of space at EastWest in Nottingham. KMPG has relocated from two studios, almost doubling in size as it takes a new office on CEG’s Let Ready custom-build, full turnkey basis.
Marc Abrams, Senior office partner at KPMG UK’s Nottingham office said: “Our new office in the EastWest building – right in the heart of Nottingham city centre, delivers a first-class facility for our team. With more meeting rooms, communal areas and a dedicated event space all situated on one floor, this contemporary and innovative set up will promote a more collaborative working environment.” This marks a new and exciting chapter for us in the region, and we’re looking forward to welcoming clients and contacts to our new home over the coming weeks.”
CEG delivered a full turnkey solution for KMPG as part of the profes- sional services company’s expansion plans. A bespoke office design was created with the interior fit out delivered by The Ultimate Group.
Alex Goode, investment manager at CEG, said: “We’re delighted to see KPMG grow at East West. The Let Ready Custom offer has ena- bled the company to move into a unique, contemporary space as part of a full turnkey solution. The quality of the space, and its fan- tastic central location means we continue to lead the way in terms of rental values in the city.”
CEG has delivered a £7 million refurbishment of EastWest on Maid 32 Marian Way in Nottingham, securing a raft of deals.
Mark Tomlinson Director at FHP, the letting agent for EastWest, said: “We’re continuing to see a clear flight to quality in the office market, as occupiers prioritise high-quality, well-located, and amenity-rich workspaces that support both productivity and staff wellbeing.
The letting of 7,500 sq ft to KPMG at East West is a prime example of this trend.
“We are now achieving rents in excess of £26 per sq ft within the building, with occupier interest on new spaces coming forwards in excess of this level, underlining the continued demand for the best quality office accommodation in Nottingham City Centre.”
EastWest offers an on-site Life team dedicated to making occupiers’ lives easier and healthier. They, along with the dedicated Life app, helping to arrange client events hosted in the café space, and cater- ing for the events through the independent café will help to create a more collaborative and productive community.
The company’s Let Ready offer provides fully-furnished flexible space, offering desks from 2 – 200 people on all-inclusive leases. Its Let Ready Custom offers a more bespoke service, designing, specifying, sourcing a project managing unique offices to meet the tenant’s requirements. As well as managing the fit out, the cost is amortised within the lease so the tenant has no risk and no upfront costs.
