The Change – Channel 4 Channel 4 has commissioned The Change, a new six-part comedy-drama series created by, written by, and starring Bridget Christie. The show is produced by Expectation. The Change was commissioned by Fiona McDermott, Head of Comedy and Laura Riseam, Commissioning Executive for Comedy. Executive Producers are Bridget Christie, Nerys Evans and Morwenna Gordon. The series will be produced by Lisa Mitchell.
Loaded in Paradise - ITVX Twofour has been commissioned by ITV to make reality game show Loaded in Paradise. The 15 x 60’ show has party-loving pairs island hop Greece’s Aegean Islands in a race to take control of – and spend – 50,000 euros. The executive producers for Loaded in Paradise are Louise Hutchinson, David Clews, Nic Patten and Lucy Palmer.
Ellie Taylor orders – Channel 4 Channel 4 and Talkback are to make two new entertainment shows, the four-part You Won’t Believe This (w/t) and two-parter Let’s Make a Love Scene, both fronted by comedian Ellie Taylor. You Won’t Believe This executive producers are Jonno Richards and Kate Edmunds and the series producer is Matt Gillbe. For Let’s Make a Love Scene, the executive producer is Laura Gibson, development by Charlie Bennett. The show is series produced by Sheila Risk. Both were commissioned for Channel 4 by Head of Entertainment, Phil Harris
I Literally Just Told You - Channel 4 Channel 4 has recommissioned I Literally Just Told You, the Jimmy Carr fronted primetime comedy gameshow created by Richard
Bacon. The series will be overseen by Ben Wicks, Creative Director of Entertainment at Expectation and the Executive Producers are Adam Hutchinson and Richard Bacon.
Beauty and the Geek/ Zodiac Island - Discovery UK Discovery UK has commissioned two discovery+ original reality series – a reboot of Beauty And The Geek and a new contemporary format Zodiac Island (w/t). Zodiac Island (w/t) is produced by Barefaced TV, Beauty and the Geek is produced by Initial.
Deep Heat – ITV2 ITV2 has commissioned Deep Heat, a new comedy written and created by duo Max & Ivan with co-writer Andrew Ellard. Deep Heat is produced by SLAM Films and directed by Matt Lipsey. Deep Heat was commissioned for ITV2 by Paul Mortimer, ITV’s Content Director for On Demand and Acquisitions with Nana Hughes, ITV’s Head of Comedy overseeing production. Executive Producers are Louise Delamere and Stephen Mangan. Produced by Gayle Cope
Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win – ITV ITV has commissioned primetime entertainment show, Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win, for a second series. It is created by Hello Dolly and co-developed by Hello Dolly and Mitre Studios. Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win has been recommissioned by ITV Head of Entertainment commissioning Katie Rawcliffe and Commissioning Editor Kevin O’Brien.
ITV2 entertainment show reorders - ITV2 Six of ITV2’s biggest entertainment shows are back for 2022. The 2022 schedule on ITV2 will include return series of The Emily Atack Show (Monkey), Celebrity Karaoke Club (Monkey), Apocalypse Wow (Tuesday’s Child), Celebrity Juice (Talkback), Shopping with Keith Lemon (Talkback) and Secret Crush (Naked).
