The Jet Set

WHETHER YOU’RE LOOKING FOR A SOLAS, SPORTS OR LIMOUSINE TENDER, YOU SHOULD CONSIDER THE JET OPTIONS THAT ARE AVAILABLE. SAFETY, MANOEUVRABILITY AND A TYPICALLY SHALLOW DRAUGHT ARE JUST THREE OF THE MAIN ADVANTAGES DELIVERED BY A JET TENDER

CARBON CRAFT

Carbon Craft has established a new category of luxury yacht tenders. These tenders enjoy the enviable distinction of lightweight carbon fibre construction, include yacht inspired amenities, and provide superior functionality to traditional inflatable RIBs. Their current lineup includes four models that range in length from 3.5m to 5.6m, and with a starting weight of less than 385kg. The company’s smaller models offer high performance petrol-jet propulsion combined with luxury yacht quality finish. The larger 5.1m and 5.6m models are available with high performance turbo diesel jet propulsion. The line of jet tenders all share a tubeless design that offers nearly twice the usable interior space over inflatable designs of the same size, as well as improved handling due to the hull spanning the entire beam instead of relying on soft tubes. The diesel-jet models are equipped with an electronic transmission,

giving them a true-neutral position for easy manoeuvring as well as a jet back-flush capability. They also have impeller access from inside the boat for quick resolution of any unfortunate fouling of a ski or dock line. The CC180, the largest of the fleet, can be paired with a powerful 295hp FNM diesel engine and Alamarin 245 jet propulsion, topping out at 40+kts with very stable and smooth handling characteristics. Available amenities include a removable picnic table and sun shade. Exposed carbon fibre design elements are visible throughout the interior as well as the company’s trademark carbon fibre transom. An extensive list of options are available, from hull and collar colours, full teak decking, to an optional hard top that retracts into the deck for stowage on a yacht.
